We felt right at home at this small, cozy pousada. The breakfast was peaceful, with plenty of variety, and everything tasted lovely. You could tell it had been made with care. The kitchen and reception staff were so friendly and helpful, and our room was spotless. We stayed in the room with a hydro tub, though next time I'd like to try the chalet. On New Year's Eve, we came back from being out and found a bottle of champagne waiting for us. That kind of thoughtful touch is rare, and it made the place stand out. This was our sixth visit to Canela and nobody had ever left us a treat like that. And Tuca, sorry if I got the name wrong, the lovely little dog who greeted us on our first day, was so sweet and affectionate. Congratulations to everyone. I'll definitely recommend the pousada.

The service was a 10, everyone was attentive and helpful. The location is great, and breakfast was simple but tasty. I stayed in the first Cabana facing the street. It's new and has a new air conditioner, though the mattress should be replaced.

The location made getting around easy, and the rooms were comfortable and well looked after. Everything was clean, attractive, tidy, and welcoming, with attentive staff who made the stay even better. I'd gladly come back and recommend it.
