Pousada Canela

The inn has a pleasant feel, and there's a fireplace guests can use in the evenings, which is nice if you're visiting Gramado in cold weather. It felt like 1°C while we were there. Some gaps in the room's balcony door let in a bit of cold, and the heaters in all the rooms were turned off in the morning, but neither issue spoiled our stay. Breakfast was simple, with limited variety, though the products were excellent. There was a machine for making hot chocolate, coffee, and coffee with milk, as well as 100% natural juices. The inn has an open parking area available 24 hours, with an access code for arriving outside reception hours. We got to Gramado at 2 a.m. and were welcomed very well. The next day our room was extremely clean and there was hot water. There's also a small kitchen with a microwave, plates, and cutlery, so you can heat food or water whenever you like. Service was excellent, and I'd definitely return. If you have mobility difficulties, keep in mind that some rooms are on upper floors and only a few are on the ground floor, so let the inn know in advance.

Breakfast was the highlight, with plenty of tasty choices and good quality, even for vegetarians. The billiards table is professional, and all its accessories were in great condition. Everything else was very good too, from the welcome to the goodbye. The whole team was eager to help and make our stay a great one. The place was spotless, and the decor was done with care. It’s a lovely spot to relax and explore. My only odd little battle was with the bedside switch. I kept setting it off all night and woke up twice with the light on 🤭🤭🤭. Still, well worth a visit!

Everything was well organized, and the room was clean. There’s a game room and good parking, and breakfast was nice too. Great value for money. I’d definitely come back.

Great location near the center, the stone church, and the square where the Festa do Colono takes place. The breakfast was top-notch too. It’s a really good pousada, you can book without worrying.
