Hotel Passarim

I had a delicious Sunday lunch, though the food isn’t heavily seasoned, so it may not suit anyone who likes strong flavors. After eating, I relaxed outside in the leisure area, enjoying the view with a cold drink. The service was quick, organized, and spot on. The quality and price make it well worth coming back, and I definitely will.

The lakefront coffee was a special part of a really pleasant stay, and I enjoyed the food just as much.

We didn’t get to see it ourselves, but we were told that more than a thousand herons put on a natural show over the huge lake in front of the hotel at dusk. The place has a welcoming, lively feel, with a family atmosphere and a history tied to Capão Bonito. The family’s pioneering work is connected to a dream of human-centered education for the region, and the matriarch still personally decorates the tables with seasonal fresh flowers. My room was spacious and well cared for, with wooden furniture joined without nails. I especially liked the design and comfort of the rocking chair. The food was tasty, and the service was always attentive and prompt.

The room’s rocking chair was a favorite, and the wooden design throughout the property gave it a really cozy feel. We had a peaceful night, with no discomfort at all, thanks to the large, comfortable bed. The varied breakfast had quality products, much like dinner, and came with a beautiful view of the property’s lake. We explored the grounds on foot over coffee, and Thaís brought me specific food to feed the geese, which was a really interesting experience. There are other things to enjoy too, including a natural-water pool, loungers for sunbathing, and a pergola where you can sit and have chimarrão. Thaís gave us a great welcome, both over WhatsApp and in person, and the nightly rate was very attractive. The accommodations were excellent, clean, and organized, and the staff were very helpful with guests’ needs. We could have dinner on site, with a great menu of dishes, fresh juices, desserts, and wines. The restaurant service was especially thoughtful and quick. I recommend it. It was a happy choice while passing through Capão Bonito.
