Hotel Serramar

There was mold all over the room, even mushrooms growing in some of it, which is unacceptable and feels like a health risk. We also found spiders and cockroaches, broken items, and a ceiling leak. The room smelled awful, and the sheets and bedding had a bad odor too, as if they hadn’t been cleaned properly. The room we got was nothing like the photos on Booking and Instagram, which were completely misleading. The place was very poorly kept, with obvious problems with cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance. A horrible stay, far below even a basic lodging standard. I wouldn’t recommend it or come back.

There were mosquitoes and cockroaches everywhere, the bathroom tiles were covered in mildew, and the sheets were stained and moldy. There was no hot water at all, so I had to take a cold shower and give my two year old daughter a cold bath. She got very sick afterward. The room was shabby and everything was dirty. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I’d have been better off camping and saving money. If you can read this before booking, choose any other hotel.

The shower had no hot water, the bathroom box was broken, and the beds and blankets were moldy. There were cockroaches everywhere, so they urgently need pest control. I asked them to change the bedding, but it wasn’t done. Honestly, they need a priest too, because the windows, doors, and faucets open by themselves.

If you’re looking for a miserable stay, this is the spot ❤️. There are cockroaches even behind the toilet paper, and the scrambled eggs at this “hotel” are awful. The gas shower takes 20 minutes to heat up, and the water pressure is like a watering can. Hotel SerraCarandiru would be a more fitting name for this place.
