Lucas was a fantastic owner, attentive to everything we needed and full of useful information. He helped us book tours and had plenty of recommendations. The hostel was spotless and comfortable, and felt like home. It’s the best hostel we’ve stayed at in Brazil.

It really feels like home here. The staff are friendly, the rooms are cozy and clean, and there are plenty of bathrooms and showers. Breakfast was delicious too.

The best part was how warmly Lucas, the host, took care of me. I felt like I was visiting relatives, and he was like a cousin, or maybe a brother, haha. He was thoughtful the whole time, shared great tips, and gave me a real lesson about the area and coffee. He makes the best coffee in MG! I also had the privilege of meeting Lucas’s parents, and just thinking of Sr. Pe makes me emotional. The place was very clean, the rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was delicious, with that Minas Gerais touch. If Lucas noticed I liked something, he made sure there was plenty of it to keep me happy. I’m so grateful, and of course I’ll be back many times!
