The owner is a really nice person, friendly, charismatic, humble, and welcoming. The rooms are clean and have good basics, including a fridge and air conditioning, and the bathroom was clean too. There’s a sitting area in front of the rooms with a sofa, tables, and chairs, right by the pool. The kitchen is the letdown, though, because there are a lot of cats there, seven of them, and they act like the place belongs to them since it’s their home. If you don’t like animals, this probably isn’t for you. If you do, go for it. The owner’s hospitality is great and the place itself is very good.

I hadn’t planned to stay overnight on the coast, but found this guesthouse for a night with the kids. It has a kitchen, a room with one double bed and two bunk beds, plus a pool and slide. It’s in a gated community across from Massaguaçu beach. The waves there are strong, so it isn’t recommended for children. We went to Mococa and Cocanha instead and loved those calm beaches.

Sr Júlio and his family were incredibly welcoming and professional, and I can’t think of anything negative. Everything was clean, including the room and the shared spaces, and the kitchen had all the utensils available. The kids loved the great pool with its water slide. The guesthouse is inside a gated community, which made us feel safer as a family. The nearby beaches were beautiful and clean, and we especially loved lagoa azul. If you visit, try Sr. JÚLIO’s seafood paella. It’s incredible. We’ll definitely be back.

My family and I will definitely come back. The owner was polite and welcoming, and made the stay and accommodation arrangements much easier. It’s a great place in a secure gated community. A 10 from us.
