The location and look of Pousada Villa Rio suit Caraíva beautifully. It has an elegant but relaxed feel, and the private pool could have made the stay feel special. But the way things are run let the place down. Breakfast took more than 40 minutes for a basic omelet, and orders were often recorded or delivered incorrectly. Our rooms had serious problems too. One had a door that could not be locked, and in another the private pool did not work and its water was cloudy. The bag and towels also led to an unpleasant surprise at checkout. Rafaela, who was very friendly, told us they could be used outside the inn, but we were then charged R$ 300 for using the bag. Clearer information would have avoided that. Rafaela was attentive and pleasant, though conflicting or unrealistic information made it hard to trust what we were told. The inn has good ideas and quality offerings, and getting to the beach and village center is easy. It has plenty of potential, but its management and service need to improve considerably to match what guests are promised and charged.

They even made a delicious cake so we could celebrate my husband's birthday. Casa das Conchas was spotless and well organized, and the staff were so kind and polite. We had a wonderful time, and the breakfast was lovely. I really recommend it!

Casa das Conchas is such a charming place in Caraíva. The rooms are spacious, pretty, comfortable, and practical, and there's a lovely garden. I loved the pool too, perfect for unwinding after a day out or just spending the day relaxing. The whole place feels cozy, stylish, and peaceful, and it's really committed to sustainability. I didn't want to leave 🤩🥰
