Pousada Cabana Nativa Paraíso

Four days and three nights at Cabana Nativa left us with memories that are hard to put into words. My husband and I came away wondering what it might be like to live somewhere so calm, raw, and close to nature. We were lucky to share the trip with a lovely group, and the friendships we made added a lot to the experience. Our guide Tiago and the whole team were professional, kind, and fun to be around. The Amazon kept mixing peaceful moments with excitement and surprises. We swam at sunset in warm water in the same lake where we'd just fished for piranhas and spotted caimans. Another night, we fell asleep in a hammock in the jungle among spiders, bats, and snakes, then woke to the eerie roar of howler monkeys. And gliding through a flooded forest in darkness, with crickets and frogs all around and water so still the boat seemed to float in the air, felt almost like a dream. Highly recommended!

Everything was well arranged, including the ride from Manaus. We had a wonderful three days, with a night camping in the forest, and Ednei and Marcelo offered a range of really interesting activities. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great.

At Cabana Nativa, we had fresh, delicious food and a clean, comfortable place to stay surrounded by nature. The staff were warm and welcoming. Our experienced guide led two well-planned activities each day, which made the whole visit feel special. I'd highly recommend the lodge for an authentic, memorable stay.

We got a lot out of our four days and three nights here. The local guides took us on plenty of activities where we could explore and learn about the region, and the team was wonderful. We also loved the meals prepared at the cabana. Thanks so much!
