Pousada Serra da Paz

Silvia was the kind of host who makes you feel at home. She was kind, polite, and so helpful. We chatted quite a bit, though we still wished we'd had longer to talk. Her warm personality made the whole visit feel special. My partner and I left with full hearts, and we're hoping to come back. We wish Silvia and her business partner lots of success. The guesthouse sits high on the mountain, surrounded by native greenery. Each chalet has its own charm, with stone and wood details that are lovely to look at. Ours had a bathtub facing a window with a beautiful view of the woods, plus a charming bedroom with a big bed and a fireplace that made it feel like a magical world. Breakfast was wonderful too, with cakes, breads, pies, and jams made by the host herself. All that care made us so happy. The whole place felt like perfection and peace. Thank you so much for such a unique experience. ❤️

All that quiet was just what I needed. It's up on the mountain in the middle of the cerrado, surrounded by nature and away from the city. The service and breakfast were both excellent. We'll be back.

There was hardly any light pollution, so if you love looking at stars, this is a great spot to see ones that are difficult to make out from the city. Native vegetation surrounds the property, with the chalets the only break in it. It's a cozy place where the wind was the only thing breaking the silence. Since it's up high, it got quite windy overnight. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a break from the bustle.
