8/10
The breakfast was great, and the customer service was very friendly even though I don't speak Portuguese. The management also moved me to another room the next day, where the internet was fast once the signal came through. In my first room, the Wi-Fi barely worked outside the bathroom. Both rooms had only small windows, and I couldn't find a bathroom fan to clear the humidity. The bathroom bin was badly rusted, the faucet seemed to leak onto the counter, and several floor tiles were cracked. The rooms feel dated. It was sufficient, but I'm used to hotels in the USA and found a few things lacking.

It looks like an ordinary house and is only half decent. The bathrooms are small and often unclean.

One of the better places to stay overnight in Caruaru. The price is nice and the stay was comfortable.
