Pousada Sumaré

A review from the room.

The rooms were spotless, and the staff were very good. The place was quiet and peaceful, and it offers more than I expected. Finding it is a bit odd, but there’s covered parking. Breakfast is simple but acceptable. The bed was too soft for a good night's sleep. The old TV won’t connect to anything except HDMI, and even then you have to take it off the wall. At reception there’s a well-organized selection of food and drinks.

The facilities are good, but breakfast isn’t a good choice if you’re staying more than one day. The staff let things down too. They don’t even have the courtesy to say good morning, and they act like guests are responsible for making sure their salary reaches their account.

It was clean and the staff were polite, but the place was almost too quiet, haha. The pillows were very uneven in size, one was really small, and one towel had a suspicious little mark that looked like dried blood from a small wound. I didn’t use it once I noticed. There were only two outlets that I could find, one behind the bed, so I had to move the bed to charge two phones, one at each outlet. Apart from those things, I’d happily stay again.
