Hotel Plaza Garden

Great.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, and the room is a good size with comfortable beds, though they're a little softer than I prefer. The white comforter looked clean, and the room had adequate lighting and a very good TV. Reception was well organized, with a luggage cart available, which was a nice touch. The hallway leading to the rooms was poorly lit. Breakfast also fell short for the room rate and the hotel's standard. The scrambled eggs were much too greasy, and the variety and quality overall could be better. My experience was good, especially the location and room comfort, but breakfast needs improvement.

We stopped here as we were leaving our vacation in Brazil, and left really happy. We had a better time at this hotel than anywhere else on our trip. Simply spectacular. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the location was excellent, close to the main road with easy access and parking. The food was fresh, good quality, plentiful, and reasonably priced. The facilities were excellent too, with fantastic showers, playrooms for children, very comfortable beds, and fully equipped rooms. It was the only place we found, and we were glad we stayed.

We wanted a hot dinner and some sleep, especially after a 13-hour drive, but this was a really frustrating night. It's 00:20 right now and we're trying to sleep while other guests arrive. There's lots of shouting in the outside parking area and corridors, people coming and going and slamming doors, guests laughing loudly and talking, and things being dragged on the floors upstairs. It's a real ordeal. I'm pregnant, and chose this place expecting better service. We also ordered dinner from the hotel restaurant. It arrived so cold we couldn't eat it. When we called to let them know, they said, "but it was hot here." If the room had cost 150,00, I might have considered not complaining, but the rate is very expensive, more than double that, and the service feels like a hostel.
