After a really frustrating situation with another booking in Cumbuco, Bada was my first choice, even before that other reservation fell through. Marco Antônio made all the difference. He made us feel completely at ease and was so helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and had a mini fridge and air conditioning. The bathroom had an electric shower and a great counter for toiletries, and there were roomy shelves in the bedroom to unpack and find things easily. The TV had local channels. The pousada is in a large old house surrounded by well-kept green grass, plants, and palm trees. The pool was clean every day, and Marco always made a point of turning on the hot tub while we cooled off. Breakfast was delicious. Don't miss the brownie pieces, they're divine! Alê makes delicious caipirinhas at the bar, and it's hard to stop at one. The location is amazing: the center of Cumbuco is two minutes away, and we walked everywhere nearby. The beach is wonderful too. Ask Marco how to get to the best swimming spot, down the street opposite the pousada. I went every day! Coffee and tea are available through the day and evening. You can also use the kitchen if you speak with Marco first, whether you want to heat up food, eat groceries from the market, or make a toasted sandwich for dinner. It feels very homey. If you need any supplies, just ask ahead; they're all very helpful. Thank you Marco, Alê, Marília and Lu. Sending each of you a kiss from the heart.
