Pousada Casa Dona Rosa

There's a small switch beside the toilet that turns on the shower's hot water. The pool gets sun from morning until late afternoon, then closes at 17h for cleaning and chlorine. The place is peaceful and well kept, almost like a country estate, with fruit trees, birdsong, a pool, and a hot tub. My room was spacious, with air conditioning, a sofa, a mini fridge, and a hammock on the balcony. The staff were attentive, friendly, polite, and kind. Dona Rosa is such a lovely person.

Gerrit and Rosa are welcoming owners who know a lot about the area, and the service was excellent. We had a wonderful week at Casa Dona Rosa, with a delicious breakfast, a spacious room, and a lovely secluded garden with a pool. Highly recommended if you're looking for a peaceful spot in the sun.

Dona Rosa is so friendly, and the staff are too. The bathroom was spotless and the room was wonderful. The pousada is beautiful, and I loved every minute of my stay.

Everything was cleaned daily, and the service was friendly and helpful. Gerrit and Roos are lovely hosts, always easy to reach and ready to help if anything goes wrong. The location is perfect, and the place is an oasis of calm. We'll definitely come back. It was one of our best holidays ever, a solid 10 out of 10. Highly recommended!
