Vila Coqueiros

We loved Cumbuco, even though we’re not kitesurfers yet, and the beach is a must-see near Fortaleza. The staff were fantastic, from the restaurant waiters to the women at reception, who found us good prices and even small discounts. The food was very nice, with enough on the menu to keep us trying things for a week, especially the seafood, cocktails, juices, and smoothies. Breakfast was good too, though if you stay longer, it could use more fresh fruit and juice choices. The pool was perfect for relaxing, and I had a smooth, relaxing massage in the garden. Rooms were spacious and lovely, especially Room 1 and room 13. We did have to switch rooms because we extended our stay, but they tried their best to find a good solution, and it wasn’t a big inconvenience. I’m guessing the hotel was full. THANK you!

The sea view was the highlight for me, with people kitesurfing out on the water. I’m here on an official visit nearby, but it’s also a great spot for tourists looking for fun and good food. It’s a beautiful place to stay in Cumbuco, with all the amenities, and the kids’ pool looks well maintained and stays busy from morning to evening. There are live songs on weekends too. A nice stay.

The hotel is just 50 meters from the beach, and there’s a nice little pool if you’d rather float around. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Also, get the "Agua de coco". So good!

We were a small group of kitesurfers from Europe and stayed for two weeks. Deirdre, the property manager, was fantastic, and the staff were kind and polite. The restaurant-bar was great, with high-quality food and breakfast. The rooms and grounds were lovely, and the price was reasonable. We’ll be back in the coming years.
