Alessandra was so kind and attentive, and gave us a lovely welcome. The rooms were clean and orderly, and the location is handy for restaurants and the CAT. The street itself is rough, though, with potholes and no pavement. Breakfast was basic, mostly sliced bread, juice, coffee, and a few fruits. Some food seemed to be reused from the day before, and the bread was a bit hard. Wi-Fi was very slow, which was a real problem since Vivo is the only phone service that works in town, so anyone with another carrier depends on the Wi-Fi. If you want to leave early for a waterfall, you need to tell them in advance because the gate is locked. It would be easier if guests had a gate key instead of needing someone to open it.

The chalets are roomy and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh juices, fruit, and homemade bread. I can’t have gluten or milk, and they made tapioca with scrambled eggs and biscuits made only with cassava starch for me. Scott, the owner, and Alessandra on staff were both friendly and attentive. The pousada is simple and could use some repairs.

The location is good, and there’s a generous breakfast. Around the pousada you often see flocks of birds, including blue macaws and toucans. Alessandra is a great manager and does everything she can to make guests happy. The place could use some investment.

Alessandra, the owner, looked after us so well. She was friendly and attentive. The pousada is simple but cozy, and the breakfast was tasty, with homemade breads, juices, cakes, and fruit. We really liked it.

It’s a quiet pousada in a good location, with well-organized, clean rooms. They’re spacious and have a small TV, a minibar, and a ceiling fan that cools the room nicely. Towels and bed linen are provided, and there’s Wi-Fi. Breakfast is the one thing that could be improved. Otherwise, I recommend it.
