Intercity Caxias do Sul

The breakfast was wonderful, with even champagne on Sundays, and the wine store is impressive. Service was great, and the place was very clean. For a smaller hotel, the pool and workout gym are pretty decent. The streets were noisy all night, though, and no one explained how to use the AC/heater. They moved us without any fuss to help with the noise, then came to our room and showed us how to work the unit so we wouldn’t have another hot night.

A decent option for a short stay. The location is good, fairly central and close to a mall, and breakfast is good. The rooms are clean but very basic, with an okay bed and bathrooms that could use an update. Watch out for the squishy toilet seat. Good thing I brought disinfectant. The rooms aren’t very quiet either, you can hear people through the door and walls.

Intercity is neat and clean, with spacious, airy rooms that are well maintained. It’s close to a big shopping mall. What I liked most was the staff’s service and hospitality. Special thanks to the breakfast staff and Laura at the front desk.

There was water infiltration in the room and a couple of mold spots. The hair dryer had live wires hanging out, which was extremely dangerous. The internet signal was terrible. When I mentioned it at checkout, they said the room was too far from the router, LOL, like that’s our problem.
