Pousada Das Araras

Relaxing.

A nice-looking place.

Renato was welcoming and had lots of tips for restaurants, outings, and the village. The stay was a positive experience, with clean rooms, good bedding, internet-connected smart TVs, a pool, air conditioning, and a good breakfast. I have no complaints, just praise. One small suggestion for guests with babies or children who need warm milk or other food: it would help to have a microwave available after 8 p.m. The kitchen and pool close at that time, and guests only have access to their rooms, so heating something for a baby isn’t possible.

Everything was extremely clean and well looked after, and you can tell it’s all been recently renovated with good taste. The service was impeccable, a real five-star experience, with Renato always around, attentive, and helpful. The pousada is made up of two houses: the main one has reception, a garden, a pool, and the open breakfast room, while the bedrooms are in the other house. Breakfast at the main house was plentiful, with fruit, juices, and some delicious surprises like fried banana. Animals from the surrounding nature park sometimes visit, making the stay even more special. It was a lovely way to wake up and start the day. I highly recommend it!
