Pousada Mangue Seco

The manager was knowledgeable, welcoming, cheerful, and so much fun. We had a fantastic time sharing laughs with her and friends we met at the inn. Everything was organized and clean, and breakfast was great. I also enjoyed sharing the table with the manager, and she invited us by WhatsApp for afternoon coffee. We'll be back to see the other places the owner recommended.

Cida, the owner, was so attentive and gave us great suggestions for places to go and eat. The atmosphere she created made us feel right at home, and we really enjoyed the afternoon coffee she made for guests in the yard. It gave us a chance to chat with other guests and make new friends. Everything was perfect, especially the warm service. We were already thinking about another visit to Itaunas on the way home, and we'd definitely stay with Cida again.

Aparecida is a wonderful host and quite a character, with great tips and a knack for guiding visitors. The breakfast was lovely, and the rooms were clean and quiet. It's a cozy, wonderful inn in a great spot, close to trails and beaches, and it's easy to reach Riacho Doce and Coata Dourada. You can walk all around Itaunas village from here. A lovely choice if you're looking for peace and quiet.

The afternoon coffee in the yard, usually with a little cake or bread, was a thoughtful touch that showed real hospitality. The inn is pet-friendly too, which is great if you're traveling with your pet. The room was comfortable and well cared for, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. The location near the square and the bridge in Itaúnas made it easy to explore the village on foot. From our first contact to book, the owners were attentive and eager to help with tips and anything that would make our stay better. I had an excellent experience and would definitely come back.
