My mum’s stay from February 23 to 24 was okay until her brand new black-and-white Nike shoes went missing. Staff had promised that the room where they were kept, near reception, was locked and secure. The shoes had only recently been given to her, and they meant a lot. I’m angry that someone took them, though I can only assume it was a staff member. Reception denied it, and my mum couldn’t stay to argue because her taxi was waiting. We’re not wealthy, and this shouldn’t happen to paying guests. Such a shame.

I only used the place for meetings, but the receptionist was so helpful and understanding, and always available. The space was clean and organized, with coffee and water provided for our guests. Really good.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was average. Cleanliness was a letdown: our room had a strange smell, and some corridor bins were still full from previous days.

The WiFi shows a strong signal, so it looks promising, but it’s pretty much unusable. I couldn’t stream, and had to switch it off on my phone to make a video call.

The staff are very kind, though they don’t seem well trained when it comes to information about the city. The hotel itself is nice and simple.
