The Rio Imbassai is right at the door, and Santo Antônio beach is a kilometer’s walk over the dunes, which was a fantastic experience. Several other beaches are close by too. Pousada Roana is a wonderful place to rest and enjoy the peace and quiet, with nature all around. It isn’t a five star hotel, but the welcome is warm and the staff service is excellent. Dandara deserves a special mention for looking after us so well. Roberto, the owner, is serenity itself. Highly recommended!

Even the hand laid sidewalks, decorated with little shells, show how much care has gone into this place. The owners are affectionate and friendly, and put their hands and eyes into every detail of the pousada. I loved the clean, bright energy here. Plants surround every cabin, giving them privacy as well as a lovely feeling. The breakfast is delicious and made with love. Everything was so clean and smelled wonderful. A paradise!

The owners are so lovely and helpful, and we loved everything. The cabins are surrounded by a garden, which gives plenty of privacy and creates a positive atmosphere. There’s a great garage and breakfast was great too. Our room had air conditioning, a TV, and its own bathroom, and was very clean and organized. The whole place has wonderful energy. It’s a paradise, and we’ll be back many more times!

The place is wonderful, and we took lots of night photos during our stay. Pousada Roana is full of thoughtful touches, and Roberto, the owner, is an excellent human being. We’ll come back and recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from the everyday madness.
