Hotel Brisa da Serra

The common area was a nice, well-kept spot to unwind after being out, and getting around was easy thanks to the quiet location close to restaurants, shops, and attractions. Breakfast had fresh fruit, breads, homemade cakes, and natural juices. The staff were consistently kind and helpful, with local tips and extra care during the stay. My room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, with crisp bedding, a cozy bed, and quiet air conditioning. The bathroom was kept clean too, and the shower had strong pressure and good temperature control, with quality toiletries. Hotel Brisa da Serra exceeded what I expected, and I thought it was good value.

The pool had quite a few leaves when I was there, from Saturday into Sunday, but otherwise I have nothing but praise. The room isn't fancy, though it does the job well and feels honest for the price. Breakfast was really nice, and the price seemed fair. The shower has separate taps and lets you adjust the temperature, which I really liked. The place itself is great, and the service was special from arrival right through to checkout.

A terrible stay, and a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The rooms don't lock, so how could I feel safe? The place is already somewhat far from the center, and it didn't feel secure at all. On top of that, the bathroom light was burned out. Am I supposed to shower in the dark? The worst stay I've ever had.

The building feels old and needs repairs, and breakfast had very little variety. The room hygiene was awful: dirty sheets and bathroom, a toilet with no lid, insects, and cobwebs on the walls. I asked for room photos when making the preliminary reservation, but they never sent them.
