Pousada e Pensionato Dona Rosa

Great.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was really good. The location is great too, close to everything, including the center. What caught me off guard was the payment and checkout information. No one explained at check-in that the final day's stay ended at noon, so I had to rush out today and move to another pousada. They also didn't tell me when I booked that 30% was due up front and the rest had to be paid at reception on arrival. Still, it was a very good stay overall.

The mattresses were hard, and the place felt like a student dorm, with people making noise and talking loudly late into the night. On top of that, they took payment for my reservation without telling me the property was under construction, even though I had said I needed somewhere quiet to work. When I arrived, there was extremely loud work going on, including demolition right in front of my room starting at 7 a.m. It disrupted my meetings and sleep. When I asked to switch rooms, they wanted me to pay extra, which I felt disregarded the laws protecting me as a consumer. This was the worst lodging experience of my life. They showed no respect for customers and were dishonest. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The air conditioning was a bit weak. It was set to 17, but it felt more like 25. Apart from that, everything was great: the location is excellent, and the place is very family-friendly and well organized, with a competitive price.
