Esquina Batel Hotel

The room was small, but it suited the hotel and was comfortable for us. The whole place was very clean, and the bedding and towels smelled lovely. We slept there for one night after arriving in Curitiba on January 21, 2026. The bed was soft, and my family loved it. We arrived in the early hours and got a good rest. Breakfast was wonderful, with a generous, delicious portion of scrambled eggs. I also left my bag behind when we checked out. Two days later they let us know another guest had found it. Everyone was so courteous and attentive. I’m very grateful, and I highly recommend it.

We stayed at the hotel this past weekend. It’s simple and cozy, and although the bathroom really is small, as other reviews mention, it was clean and everything was fine. Breakfast was great, with fruit and breads, and the scrambled eggs really were delicious.

The bed was good, and the shower was great. The room and bathroom are small, but I still really enjoyed my stay and thought it was good value. There are lots of important places nearby, and getting around is easy, especially on foot. The people were very friendly, attentive, and courteous. Breakfast was just right for me.

The breakfast was the only part my husband and I didn’t enjoy. For the price, we expected more than the very basic spread, and the coffee was especially weak for him. The chocolate cake was badly burnt all the way through. Serving something that visibly unsuitable felt careless, and it could even have made someone feel unwell. Otherwise, we liked our stay. The room and bathroom were small, but that seemed understandable for a hotel, and the place was tidy and clean, despite some of the comments I’d read before booking. The service was very satisfactory, and the location was great, close to several interesting places. We had no other complaints.
