The bathroom was filthy and smelled awful, with mold, no ventilation, gum stuck to the ceiling, and a five-minute limit on hot showers. The bedding also stank as if it hadn't been washed, and the thin, scratchy towels felt like floor cloths. In the room there was nowhere to put anything, just an old chair, so our things had to stay on the floor. A broken, patched-up fan without a guard did nothing to move the air. The room itself was damp and completely moldy, with no ventilation. We'd leave in the morning and come back at night to find everything wet and that unbearable musty smell. I booked three nights two months ahead, but the room looked like it hadn't even been swept when we arrived, let alone properly cleaned. There are many people living on the street outside, which made coming back late, especially at night, feel dangerous. The place isn't worth the price or the risk. Spending a little more could get you somewhere much more comfortable and safe. The location isn't that great either, about a 25-minute walk to Mercadão. There are much better options, I promise.

The toilet paper was awful, like sandpaper, and the team wouldn't move us to another room. The place was filthy and damp, with no bath towel or top sheet. The fan looked like it hadn't been cleaned in about six months. I've stayed in hostels with ten people sharing a room and bathroom, and even those weren't as miserable as this. Gross is the right word. Worst experience I've had.

The only decent thing was the digital locks, that's it. The sheets smelled awful and I'm sure they were dirty. The room had a bad smell, like sulfur and a wet dog. The bathroom drain was blocked, so when the water ran, it filled up and hair came floating up. The toilet wouldn't flush, it was noisy, and the towels were horrible, worse than floor rags. I wouldn't recommend it.
