Housekeeping was great, and the rooms and beds were very clean and neatly made. The rooms themselves are small, with tiny bathrooms, and the front desk staff were a letdown. We’d asked for a late checkout when booking, but every person we spoke to gave a different answer. We got 40 extra minutes in the end, but our room key stopped working, so we had to go back to reception to have access restored and collect our things.

There were plenty of breakfast choices, and Ms Martha at the breakfast line was kind and helpful. The front desk attendant was helpful too. We’ll definitely come back.

We paid €50 for a Saturday night after booking on Thursday, but the price that same day was €31. €31 felt closer to what the room was worth, so this was definitely not worth the price. The room felt like sleeping in a bathroom with a bed. Only the toilet was separate, while the sink and shower were in the room itself, making it impossible to use them without waking the other person. The walls were paper thin, and a neighboring guest’s phone buzzed for ages at 3 a.m., so we barely slept. There’s no phone in the room either, so you have to go up and down to reception for anything, including the Wi-Fi details, and the Wi-Fi wasn’t working.

Fine if you’re on a budget, but it felt just one step above a hostel. The rooms are clean, though very small, and the thin walls let in some noise. For what we paid, even a little bottle of shampoo would’ve been nice.
