The restaurant was a letdown: service was extremely slow, and the food’s quality and flavor didn’t justify the high prices. The two-week stay also fell short of what I expected from a five-star hotel. At check-in, I was wrongly asked to pay even though my travel agency had prepaid the stay. It took a full day to sort out and caused needless stress. One day, housekeeping left the bed poorly made, the comforter on a bench, and a blanket inside its dry-cleaning bag. Marijuana smoke from a nearby room drifted into ours, which was unpleasant, and reporting it didn’t seem to lead to any effective action. The walls were very thin, so we heard every hallway and room noise all night. Light sleepers should avoid it. Some issues were eventually fixed, but the experience overall was disappointing for a hotel in this category.
