The front desk was extremely unhelpful and backed aggressive residents in whatever retaliation they asked for, such as refusing to share the building manager’s contact details. Some residents here act like they own the place and pick fights with temporary guests, to the point that ordinary people end up looking for somewhere else. Avoid it, or be VERY careful. Your stay could turn into a nightmare if you run into these people.

Whenever I visit Curitiba, I look for a place at princess through Airbnb. The prices are good, the location is great, and the building is modern.

At checkout, every access point was blocked at 11. I was taking my bags to the car, then got locked out when I went back for my backpack at 11:01. It took a lot of stress before they finally let me retrieve it. Getting in at the start was just as bad. I arrived at 3 p.m. after completing their required check-in in their own app, which kept freezing, but the virtual front desk wouldn’t let me into the property because Xtay hadn’t sent over my details. It took more than an hour to get access. The apartment also had no trash bin or dish towel. Guest support was awful and handled outside Airbnb. I didn’t even get an apology. This was the worst Airbnb experience of my life. I rented a place managed by Xtay, and I’ll never rent from them again. I’d rather not travel than stay somewhere managed by this company.

The apartment was really clean, and the linens were good quality. Everything felt new and had the comfort of home, a nice alternative to hotels. It’s very well located and easy to get to. Booking and getting into both the building and apartment was quick and simple. I’d definitely come back, and I really recommend it.

I arrived at 7 p.m. and couldn’t check in through the app. Nobody replied there, and the person at the location couldn’t do anything, so I was left stranded thinking I might have to stay somewhere else. Never again. If you want to avoid the stress, find another place to stay.
