Such a peaceful place, surrounded by nature. I had a unique, wonderful stay, with lots of quiet and calm. Sr.Luciano, the owner, is warm, charismatic, and always ready to help. I’d give him a 10 on every count. Thanks so much, Senhor Luciano. 🙏🍃 I recommend it, and I’ll come back one day!

We had a very positive stay. Our room was spacious, and there was art and nature all around. During our visit, our family were the only guests, so we practically had the whole pousada to ourselves. Sr Luciano was a welcoming, helpful host who made us feel at home, and one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had came with really high-quality items. Delimiro Gouveia is well placed for getting to the region’s main attractions, including Paulo Afonso-BA and the boat departure points for trips through the canyons, such as Olhos da Agua do Casado and Piranhas. Agua Branca-AL is nearby too, with Engenho São Lourenço, famous for its fried rapadura ice cream. On Sr. Luciano’s recommendation, we also visited the beach and lookout in the village of Cruz (see photos). It holds its own against better-known viewpoints.

The breakfast was delicious, and the service and welcome were a 10. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the surroundings felt pleasant and restful. It’s a beautiful place with lots of different kinds of nature. I’m grateful for all the care and warm hospitality!

It’s a cozy place where you feel at home, and it’s close to everything. If you want to see Delmiro and the São Francisco Canyons, this is the best place to stay. Luciano is such a good guy. Whenever I meet him again, we always have a great chat.

A lovely pousada with great facilities and gardens all around. The host is friendly and gives wonderful tips for outings. Breakfast feels special, everything tastes good, and you can tell it’s made with care.
