It’s well located, and the room was hygienic, which helped make up for some other shortcomings. The bed mattress was lovely, but the pillow felt as hard as a rock. Breakfast was very basic for the price: if you don’t eat bread rolls, there’s nothing for you, and although they have granola, there’s no yogurt or anything similar to eat it with. The butter was hard from being in the freezer, and there were lots of biscuits.

I only stayed one night, and it went very well. The place is practical, very clean, and the service is extremely courteous and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, though don’t expect a premium buffet. To me, it’s a great choice for a short visit, while its simple setup may make it less suitable for a longer stay. I recommend it for its organization and friendly service.

The girls who served us were excellent, thank you for everything 😊. The inn is really well located, close to the market and historic center, and you can walk to everything from Vesperata. There’s a garage and parking. Everything was very clean, with bright white towels and bedding. It would be even better with a bedside light and more outlets for charging a phone, since there’s only one side of the bed with an outlet.

The rooms, showers, location for walking around Diamantina, and breakfast were all good, so this could have been a great stay. Instead, we were extremely unhappy with reception. I rented five rooms for my whole family, and check-in brought a string of problems. One reservation hadn’t been made, so those guests had to move to another room for a night; luckily, that room was available. One employee was also very rude. They kept saying things happened because an employee was new, while treating us as if it were our fault. We’d travelled for hours, arrived exhausted at 14:30, and I was pregnant and feeling unwell. We were already late for a wedding starting in 30 minutes because of car trouble. Then we were told our room was still being cleaned and we’d have to sit and wait, even though the hotel’s check-in time is 12:00. The new employee at reception tried to calm us down and sort things out, but still didn’t acknowledge their mistake. Another cleaning employee interrupted and treated us in a way we’d never experienced anywhere else. She didn’t seem to understand that we were hotel guests who had arrived tired. She blamed us for being late, ignored us about our stay, raised her voice, and acted as though we should leave. After the humiliation and lack of empathy and preparation we faced at check-in, we’ll never stay at this hotel again.
