The breakfast was great, and our room, 203, was probably the best one there. We stayed for 10 days at this fantastic hotel, on a quiet street about a 10-minute walk from the central square. We noticed plenty of other local pousadas during our stay, but none seemed as nice as Seresta.

At first, they put us in a terrible underground room with cockroaches that looked nothing like the booking-site photos. We spoke with management and got moved to a better room. I think our situation was unusual, though it's useful to know it can happen. Aside from that, it's a simple but decent place, about what I'd expect for the town.

The prices are high, but it's very comfortable. The rooms and food are the best in the city, and it's close to downtown.

The location is peaceful, and the center is about a 10-minute walk away. We had a good breakfast, and I really enjoyed our stay at the pousada. Our room was nice and came with air conditioning, a minibar, bed and bath linens, a duvet, and a blanket. The bathroom was roomy, though the shower didn't get very hot, and the room door only locked with a key.
