Center Palace Hotel

The price is the main plus. The hotel is cheap, but old and really could use a renovation. It seems to attract a lot of construction workers, and people were talking loudly at breakfast. The basement garage is there, though it looked dirty and disorganized. Breakfast was very limited, with only the bare basics and no fruit, cold cuts, or much variety. Getting to reception means climbing two flights of stairs. In the bathroom, the shower has no enclosure and sits almost right next to the toilet.

The location is the only good thing. There were cockroaches in the room, and breakfast was sparse: no fruit, cheese, natural juice, pão de queijo, or butter. They had margarine, TANG juice, and cheap sausage as the only protein. They don't provide soap or shampoo.

The price was good, and the service was really good too. The apartment cleaning, though, fell short.

The service and location are the only things I liked. My room was near reception, and the noise went on all night, so I simply couldn't sleep. The pillows were awful too. The rooms are very old and haven't been renovated, the walls are dirty and badly painted, and breakfast was terrible with no options. Really bad overall. I don't recommend it.
