We had two rooms next to each other for our family. The beds were comfortable and the showers fantastic, though the rest of the rooms are basic. The hotel building is lovely, with lots of wood details and furniture inside, and it looks elegant from the outside, surrounded by nice gardens. On a winter evening, the heated outdoor pool and nearby sauna were fantastic. The hot water, cold air, and gorgeous view of Pedra Azul made it a treat. We loved staying here.

The view of Petra Azul from the room was beautiful, and the pool was perfect. The restaurant was decent too. A truly exceptional stay, like the Brazilian White Lotus.

The views were great, the food was great, and the staff were very friendly. The amenities are beautiful. But during our two-day trip, the Wi-Fi worked for only about 30 minutes. At R$550 a day, they should improve it for guests. Our door was hard to lock and unlock because of its age, and the game room items are neglected and could use some work.

I first reviewed this in 2017, when I found it lovely and romantic, with very nice employees. I came back in 2018 and 2019. The hotel was still very nice, and the staff had gotten even better!

It's a really unique place, and I enjoyed it a lot. It's in the mountains, so you don't need air conditioning for most of the year. There isn't any, though.
