Cheiro de Mata Pousada e Restaurante Ltda

The quiet nights and close contact with nature made this a lovely place to recharge. Pousada Cheiro de Mata is welcoming and very well looked after, with comfortable rooms and pleasant balconies where you can relax in a hammock. The pool area is great for spending the day, and the kids had a lot of fun there. It worked really well for getting family and friends together. We'd definitely come back.

We stayed overnight with family after a day at Terra dos Dinos and were pleasantly surprised by how good the place was. The pousada is quiet and private, the rooms are clean, and the bedding was spotless. The shower had strong hot water, breakfast was made to suit us, and the staff were attentive. The area has a really nice feel too. We plan to return and stay longer.

The breakfast was delicious, complete, and replenished when needed. The rooms were tidy, the shared areas clean and attractive, and there was plenty of parking. There’s a lovely pool and space for children, but the pousada is comfortable enough to spend the whole day at if you want. We also liked having a hammock in the room for an afternoon rest or a bit of reading in the morning. What matters most to me when traveling with family is how we’re treated, since that can make or break a trip. Pousada Cheiro da Mata looked after us well from booking through checkout. It’s also a handy base for visiting other places. We had a fantastic stay and will return when we get the chance.

There aren't many good places to eat in this area, so this is the best option for both a restaurant and somewhere to stay.
