Hotel Hayer

The kids are welcome here. Rooms are a good size, beds are comfortable, and the shower is good. Great hotel.

The bed was soft and breakfast excellent, with great facilities overall. The hotel is incredible, though the WiFi connection still needs improvement.

The room was spacious, and the breakfast was okay, though it started late and had little variety. That's the only positive I can give. The rest was the worst hotel experience I've had. I stayed three nights with two friends and felt like I'd thrown my money away. The hygiene was awful: dirty, moldy walls, a bathroom ceiling covered in mold, and cobwebs on the lights. The towels and bedding were dirty, stained, and smelled terrible. They seemed grimy, like they'd been washed in lard. I had to buy a towel in downtown Erechim, and we went through a whole bottle of body spray in three days trying to cover the smell. One twin bed's blanket was full of little bits of hair. Disgusting. The bathroom shower was a terrible mix of half one model and half another. The carpeted elevator stank like sweaty feet, and the WiFi didn't work. I needed to work online and had to use my phone's 5G hotspot for my tablet. The location itself is good, but there's a bar across the street. One night, the noise went on until 4 a.m., with fighting as well as general racket, and hotel staff did nothing. They could have called the police. Service was HORRIBLE. To be fair, one male employee, whose name I don't know, was very helpful to us. Most of the others seemed bad-tempered, inconsiderate, and lacking empathy, as if being there was a favor when I was paying. We had evening plans, but there was often nobody at reception, and we came and went without anyone noticing. There was zero security. I hope with all my heart I never have to stay there again. If you're staying in Erechim, I wholeheartedly recommend Blue Open.
