The service was good, and breakfast was decent, but the rooms are tiny and completely unremarkable. We hadn’t expected that, and it doesn’t seem like they put any money into improving them. There’s no window in the room, so there’s no view at all. The inn is at the end of a narrow street and leaves a lot to be desired. You have to walk past the garbage dump for two supermarkets. Such a shame.

Dona Neide and Samuel are wonderful hosts, warm and attentive, and they make guests feel like family. Dona Neide’s breakfast is delicious, and she puts so much care into it. She even decorates the room and table with flowers, which makes everything feel special. When I got a stain on my dress, she helped me with it too, such a kind gesture. The location is excellent, close to a market and bakery. I highly recommend Casa de Samuel Lobrito, and I’ll definitely stay there again when I return to Noronha.

The breakfast deserves a special mention: every day there was a great selection of fruit, plenty of Paes, cold cuts, cakes, and fresh juice. The room was spacious and clean, with the air conditioning and shower both working perfectly. Neide, Samuel, Miguel, Lion, and Lulu were all wonderful, attentive, and welcoming. Staying in a local home in Noronha is a unique experience. The pousada is beside the cheapest market on the island and right across from the bus stop. I highly recommend it, and when I come back to Noronha I’ll definitely look for Neide and Samuel.

Samuel’s family made Noronha feel like home during our stay. They’re such welcoming, wonderful people, and their warmth and care will stay with us. The rooms were tidy and cozy, and breakfast was delicious and generous. If you want to experience Noronha fully, staying in the home of locals like them is the place to do it. Samuel is also the best guide, and you’ll get to see the island for real with him.

Neide made herself available from the very first contact, answered all my questions, and offered to help arrange a tour or find a guide for the trails. You feel at home here within minutes. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is a great size, and breakfast is a whole love story of its own. Neide makes everything with care, and even the mabuias wait eagerly for leftovers, though I didn’t leave a thing! Samuel is lots of fun and makes you feel at ease, while Miguel is very polite and even suggested a restaurant. The sweetest pets, Lulu and Lion, live here too. There’s a market, bakery, restaurants, and bus stop close by. If we come back, we’ll definitely stay at Casa Samuel Lobrito again.
