Pousada Nascer do Sol

Estrela gave us excellent, welcoming service, and even though breakfast had few choices, she kindly offered alternatives like scrambled eggs and tapioca. The room was quiet and cozy, though there was mold in a few spots. The pousada’s facilities could be better, and the water supply failed at times. The location was fine, about 1 km from Vila dos Remédios, where there are several bars and restaurants. We walked there several times, both day and night, and also walked to various beaches instead of taking a taxi or bus. There’s a market and bakery nearby.

Estrela, who works at the pousada, was wonderful and very attentive. She made a great breakfast with tapioca and eggs. The room was comfortable, and everything worked properly, including the air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and refrigerator. After coming back tired from the beach, we slept really well. I’d definitely recommend it.

Marli was the standout for me. She was attentive, helpful, and always ready to lend a hand. Breakfast was simple but did the job. Pousada Nascer do Sol is a simple but comfortable place for a peaceful stay in Fernando de Noronha. The room had air conditioning, a TV, a minibar, and a small balcony that was handy for drying swimwear. Its location in Vila do Trinta is excellent, with Vila dos Remédios and the Porto both easy to reach on foot. There are markets nearby and good restaurants around, including Restaurante Varanda, Sushi do Salviano, and Restaurante do Valdênio, where the takeaway meal was tasty and good value. The main concern is the infrastructure, which is showing wear and needs renovation. The Wi-Fi was also having problems. Even so, I had a positive stay, and the pousada fully met my expectations. I enjoyed it a lot.

A terrible stay. There was no comfort at all: broken boards at the entrance, a closed pool, and almost no breakfast choices. The two people who came in the morning to prepare breakfast were helpful and brought us what we asked for. There were boxes piled up and paint cans around, and no one stayed at the pousada during the day or at night apart from the guests.
