Blue Tree Premium Florianopolis

We liked the hotel overall. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, the staff are friendly, and the location is in a safe, pleasant area. On a hot day, the pool was a nice place to spend time. Breakfast was less successful: the eggs were overcooked and the cakes were often dry. Construction across the road started at 7am and woke us each day. I also wish they provided complimentary water bottles.

I stayed here while recovering from surgery, and the location near the hospital was very convenient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and good value. Breakfast and service were both great. I left my electric toothbrush behind, and they kept it for me to pick up a week later. Thanks, I’d stay again.

I was only visiting a friend to drop something off, but Adrian at the front desk insisted I pay for the room. When I asked to see the policy, he wouldn’t show me any rules and told me to speak with a manager. His attitude was rude and dismissive, and he didn’t explain things clearly. It was frustrating to be treated that way when I was just trying to help a friend. Visitors should be met with courtesy and clear information too. The lack of transparency made an already unpleasant encounter worse. I hope management addresses how Adrian handled it and makes sure people are treated professionally and kindly.

It’s okay, though I’d pick the Novotel two blocks away, particularly if using the pool matters to you.
