Campeche Beach Club

The accommodations are comfortable in the Villa Campeche area. There's a lot of real estate development going on, so it could suit investors. For Argentinians, the water is very cold, but it's good for surfing. Bring a wetsuit.

The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, and the location is excellent, just two blocks from Campeche beach. It had kitchenware and dishes, two huge smart TVs, air conditioning in the living room and every bedroom, lots of towels, a washing machine with detergent already there, several clotheslines, and other handy things. They also lend out very light beach chairs, which came in useful. Genaro was friendly and laid-back, and never bothered us. I'd recommend the place and return. I held back the fifth star because the setup didn't quite match what we saw in the photos. We expected two rooms, one with two single beds, but on arrival found one bed and a twin mattress to put on the floor. Maybe we should have asked them to make all the beds or checked in advance. The double bed has storage underneath, but it was empty and made a lot of noise when moved. Although there are two bathrooms, you can't shower at the same time because one always gets cold water. The shower drains were clogged, and water ran out to the sides instead of the center. If you shower one at a time, though, the water temperature is fine.

A great place to enjoy yourself.

The beach water is really cold and dirty with algae and human waste. I don't recommend it.
