There aren't many places to eat within walking distance, so the simple but delicious lunch for an extra charge was important. Breakfast was just passable, with less variety than most places in this price range. The hotel feels like a step back in time, with older rooms and comfortable beds, set among beautiful, peaceful grounds.

I was really pleased with the room, especially the balcony, where I left the door open overnight because the weather was so nice. The hotel is just minutes from the beach and a few minutes from pontal do campeche. It has lovely gardens, lots of amenities, and both the indoor and outdoor pools were at great temperatures. Breakfast was free, with a wonderful selection. The receptionists and cleaning ladies were all very nice. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Thank you all.

We live right next to the hotel, and the noise has been awful. They spent a week getting ready for a party, with a sound check every morning, and now there's some kind of children's camp. Parties go on until midnight, and this morning they were shouting “Bom dia” into a microphone from 7:30. All the dogs nearby bark in response. It's hard to believe anyone thinks the day can be good after a morning like that. It's amazing how a beautiful place can feel like hell when people don't think things through.

The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and there are lots of restaurants just 2 minutes away, including a great one in the hotel. The location is great, the facilities are good, and the service is pleasant and polite. The rooms and bathrooms could be better, but they're more than adequate for a nice stay in the area.
