Fantastic!

The location was the only real plus. Everything else made this the worst hotel stay I've ever had. Our room was tiny, with a small TV that was hard to watch and only three free-to-air channels. The bathroom was cramped, and the shower screen was broken. We had to force it several times just to open or close it. The room wasn't cleaned every day, and on a few occasions we had to ask for fresh towels. Service was another letdown. One morning, I asked for a cup of coffee five minutes before breakfast officially started because I was leaving for an outing and couldn't wait. The buffet was already fully set up, but the staff acted as if they hadn't heard me. When I asked again, someone handed me a large cup of coffee brusquely and shut the door behind me, as though I were asking a favor instead of being a hotel guest. Another time, I asked for two pieces of cutlery to eat a delivery meal. I was told the hotel had none, which was hard to believe. Thankfully, one employee was kind about it and managed to find two pieces on her own, even though they didn't belong to the hotel. The heated pool was about the only other reasonable feature, though it honestly didn't feel very warm for how cold the area was. The stay was deeply disappointing. If you're considering this place, I'd look elsewhere.

We felt looked after from the minute we arrived, and the room was spotless, lovely, and really comfortable. We had a great stay, and the staff were consistently kind, attentive, and ready to help. The one thing we weren't happy about was not being able to use the kitchen. Everything else worked out so well. On our last day, our flight wasn't until the evening, so after checkout they let us leave our things at reception and even offered us a shower before we left. They also offered to arrange a taxi, which made us feel much more at ease about getting around. We appreciated all of that and would happily come back. Thanks for everything!
