HANNA Marina's Palace Hotel

Canasvieiras is right outside, with restaurants, bars, a supermarket, tour agencies, currency exchange, shops, and plenty of activity on the main street. The beach is just one street away, and the buffet breakfast was delicious, with lots of variety. The room layout and general cleanliness were fine, and the three beds worked well for four people. I might come back someday. We did have trouble with the room’s electricity at first, though, and were left without power for two nights. The mini fridge didn’t work, and the TV didn’t work either.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. My health plan made the reservation, and I’ve already canceled the plan too. The breakfast was awful, the power went out, and I lost two days of my trip, so I left early. The pool was dirty, the towels were dingy, and everything felt filthy. It doesn’t look like the photos, and nothing was any good. A miserable experience. Don’t come here. Better to pay more and have some comfort.

I stayed here with my 5-year-old son, and it was a huge disappointment. The hotel lacked even the basics: our room was dirty, had cockroaches, and smelled musty. The sheets and towels were dingy. Breakfast had little variety, and even what was served seemed old; the breakfast area wasn’t hygienic either. We were without water for more than 16 hours. The neglect and the state of the place were outrageous. It was terrible, zero out of ten, and I don’t recommend it.
