The spacious rooms and delicious food were great, and cleanliness clearly comes first here. As a Canadian tourist, I didn’t arrive with high expectations, but the service and hospitality really blew me away. I’d definitely recommend this place.
Barra da Lagoa is a beautiful neighborhood, with a great beach and just about anything you might want within walking distance. Hotel Residencial Ilha Bela makes a wonderful base there: the accommodation was very clean and practical, the beds were comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were outstanding. You can visit places around Florianópolis without having to drive too many kms. In my opinion, it’s the BEST. I recommend it 100%.
Really, it’s the only hotel I saw in Barra da lagoa. The other places don’t even look like hotels.
