Intercity Florianópolis

The staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful. There’s a super chic food court right next door, plus a chic supermarket two blocks away. Inside, though, the floors and rooms need renovation. The wall colors and textures feel dated, the TV doesn’t really play Netflix as it’s supposed to, and the room smells musty and damp. The air conditioning works fine, but turning on the heat makes the room and closet smell like mold.

Had a very good stay. The cleaning and breakfast were good. If you’re visiting Floripa, give this hotel a try.

The location worked well for getting around. The bus station is directly across the street, and the city market is an easy walk for souvenirs and food. The bay citywalk, old Rita Maria bridge, and some Sertanejo places are nearby too. Rooms aren’t large, but they’re comfortable enough. The first-floor pool, opposite the gym, is fine for relaxing, though not really for swimming. For that, you’d be better off at one of the Island’s many beaches. I’d recommend it for friends or family.

The rooms were nice and clean, but being close to the main road made things a bit noisy. I also couldn’t bring my friend up to help with luggage, even for a moment, without paying an extra fee of 50 RS.
