Joaquina Beach Hotel

The staff are friendly, and the basic breakfast is good. But the rooms are really bare bones, with air conditioning and safes only in the “luxury” rooms. There’s hardly anywhere to hang wet towels, either. The mattresses are very old and soft, so if you have a bad back or neck, I’d pick another hotel. It seems expensive for what you get.

It’s right on the beach, with clean rooms, great staff, affordable prices, and a delicious free breakfast. Restaurants nearby close early, just so you know. Still, it’s a great place if you’re after a relaxing vacation.

A clean, decent hotel with a good, big breakfast. The room Wi-Fi was broken, though the lobby had Wi-Fi. The staff were very nice and let us keep our surfboards in the room.
