We held a Canine Reactivity event for professionals at the inn and were very pleased. The space is roomy and well cared for, and it suited the activity perfectly. Our host was excellent, attentive, and always ready to help. It's a welcoming place, and we'd recommend it for leisure or technical events like ours.

The quiet setting and lush nature around the inn were exactly what we wanted, so we chose well. It's away from the busier, more crowded beaches, but by car the markets, pharmacies, bakeries, and restaurants are only 5-10 minutes away. Reaching the sea took 15-30 minutes depending on which beach we wanted to see. That worked for us, since we came to explore several beaches rather than stay at just one. We went during Carnival and had a really good vacation. The inn's style and quality were a big part of that. Our room had air conditioning, a very good bed, and an incredible sunrise view. We made good use of the nicely sized pool after returning from the beach. The place was very clean, and the furniture was well cared for. We also used the kitchen a few times to eat, which was a nice experience. Paulo, Tomás, and Agus welcomed us with a lot of warmth. We brought our medium-sized dog, who loved the space too. There are plenty of books, hammocks for relaxing, and a Jiu Jitsu mat where the host teaches classes. Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to see some little monkeys. It was a 10 out of 10!

We've stayed at this pousada twice now and don't plan to switch. It's a lovely, family-friendly place, with practical, comfortable accommodation, a pool, and a grill. The host was helpful and attentive throughout our stay. It's especially convenient if you're arriving by car. The location gets you away from the awful traffic noise, while Moçambique Beach is under 10 minutes away and Ingleses/Barra da Lagoa takes a little longer. Highly recommended, and well worth booking.

The reviews are years old. Go now and you'll see that it isn't what the photos suggest: ugly, dirty, and with nothing to offer. The pillows and mattress were filthy, and the refrigerator smelled rotten. Thank goodness we got out of that horrible place. I hope nobody else gets taken in by those pictures.
