LK Design Hotel

The rooftop view is hard to beat, and the rooms are lovely. The location is great too, but what really stood out was how kind and welcoming the team was. It was better than anywhere else I’ve stayed. I’d happily recommend it and will definitely return. Thanks, everyone!

The hotel has a modern look and a nice room, but it’s very expensive, so I expected a much better welcome and more care for guests. Check-in felt drawn out, starting with the passport requirement, which didn’t make sense to me. At other hotels I’ve stayed in across Brazil and the USA, my driver’s license was enough when the room was prepaid. Even Marriott is friendlier and a thousand times faster. Maybe someday they’ll realize guests’ time matters.

The pool staff were excellent, with big smiles and service that went above and beyond, even though it took a while. The property itself is fantastic, with great design, a pool, and very comfortable rooms. Other parts of the service need work. The restaurant staff need training in managing expectations: I was served an extremely salty dish and a steak cooked far beyond what I wanted, terrible by Brazilian standards. When the electricity was cut for maintenance, reception staff seemed unprepared and told me to go sightseeing, even though I had two virtual meetings to attend. The hotel needs to improve its hospitality.
