I booked just one night, then stayed for a whole week. It was quiet, clean, relaxing, centrally located, and reasonably priced. The staff were so friendly and accommodating that I felt at home.

I’d planned to spend a few days somewhere else before coming here, but ended up staying here for all 10 days of my trip. Everything was excellent, from the service and cleanliness to the location. Gaby and Kari were fantastic and always checked that we had what we needed. Such lovely energy ✨

There’s a lovely sense of community among the guests, and Mama Africa has a charm all its own, just steps from the lagoon. The volunteers are always ready to help travelers, even with the little details. Gabriel Loto, the owner, and Karina, the manager, are both so kind and make you feel at home. Fantastic service and atmosphere, a ten out of ten. Highly recommend.

Spent Carnival at this wonderful hostel and I’ll definitely come back. Everyone was so friendly, especially manager Kari, who gets a 1000 from me! The bathroom is cleaned every day, and the place is well organized. It’s close to bars, restaurants, clubs, and the town center. Highly recommend!
