Great service and location, and the breakfast was decent, though it didn’t quite meet local expectations. The rooms were good, but tiny and old.

The kitchenette in the room was practical and well equipped, and breakfast with its fresh fruit selection was amazing. We were right by the beach, literally stepping out of the hotel and into the water, and saw dolphins almost every day. The section we stayed in had just been renovated, and it looked much better than the photos. It was the first time a hotel room impressed me by being nicer than its pictures. The downsides were the staff didn’t speak English, and the bathroom toiletries were sparse, just two small bars of soap and no shampoo or shower gel. There are nearby supermarkets if, like me, you’re particular about those things. Some guests were noisy and slammed their doors, which got annoying since the doors didn’t block sound. Maybe we were just unlucky with the neighbors.
