Pousada Casa da Maria

A great experience, especially for families and friends.

Luis was incredibly helpful when an outside issue meant I needed to make an important call in Portuguese. The service was a 10/10, and I’d come back a thousand times. The place is peaceful and comfortable, just steps from the beach with an incredible view. Our room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and the large windows let in a lovely breeze.

The owners, Luiz and Luana, were so kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Thanks so much for the warm welcome and care. Casa da Maria will be my first choice whenever I need a place to stay in Santinho again. We were there last weekend, and it’s a great, family-friendly spot to rest and recharge. The pousada is simple but really cozy and fairly priced. Everything was clean and organized, with a good-sized room, a great bed, and a lovely view. There’s a well-equipped shared kitchen with some free items. The place has such a good feeling to it, it’s hard to feel down while staying there.

You wake up to an ocean view and the sounds of nature, with the beach very close by. Luiz and Luana make the place feel like home, and their hospitality is excellent. The rooms and bathrooms are bright, spacious, and clean. The shared areas are always spotless and have a great atmosphere. There’s a special energy here. A must-see, and thank you, Luiz and Luana!
